From Flour Mill to Performance Center for Sports Horses

The Wintermühle originated around 1900 in the Taunus and with each generation it evolved from flour mill to an agricultural animal and horse breeding farm

Along with the equestrian sports boom of the 70s, another utilization change occurred. Horse breeding and horse keeping became the main focal point. The name Wintermühle stands for a developed, recognized sports horse performance center by the FN. Here you will find the best horse keeping with the best care from qualified trainers and skilled stable hands. Also the ideal training conditions for international dressage. The family business in the fourth generation run by Arnold Winter (Pferdewirtschaftsmeister-certified riding instructor), in Neu Anspach, developed a training facility with the privilege of holding the state and national championships.

The traditional dressage festival is always on the last weekend in July. A highlight among many other events
